Gressenhall : Beech House

We have appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse, Museum of Norfolk Life, in collecting these reminiscences of people who worked at The Beeches, as it was called during the period between1948 and 1974 when the Workhouse building was used as a residential home for the elderly.  The project was designed especially to capture  experiences related to the old steam laundry 

We are, of course, most grateful to the contributors themselves for helping to preserve valuable memories of a short period in the life of this historic building.
